Sod Installation
This process begins with preparing the soil by clearing debris, leveling the surface, and ensuring adequate soil fertility. This preparation is crucial for the sod to establish strong roots once laid. Sod is typically delivered in rolls or pallets, which are carefully placed and staggered to create a seamless, uniform appearance. Each roll is tightly packed with mature grass plants that have already developed a dense root system, allowing them to quickly take root in the prepared soil.
After installation, the sod requires immediate watering to promote root growth and establishment. Proper watering techniques, including regular and deep watering during the initial weeks, are essential to ensure the sod remains healthy and adheres securely to the soil.
